KOTA MALANG
Tugu Malang (Malang City Hall Monument): This central monument is the city's main icon and one of the first monuments built in Indonesia to commemorate independence. Its peak, resembling a sharpened bamboo, symbolizes the Indonesian people's fighting spirit and resistance against colonial rule. At the base of the monument is a patma (lotus flower structure) symbolizing purity.
Manyar Bird (Osi & Ji): The bird motif at the bottom is most likely a Manyar Bird (Pioceus manyar), a typical Malang animal that has been officially designated as the city's mascot, along with the lion.
